The East of Eden Wellness Center in Montego Bay, Jamaica is a 32 room, 24 bed villa situated on 3 acres. East of Eden is a comprehensive holistic treatment facility dedicated towards helping individuals manage and cope with life’s challenges and emotional stressors that cause behavioral health issues and substance abuse. The goal of The Hammond Group, Inc. is to provide a therapeutic environment for people effected by substance abuse and behavioral health issues. East of Eden Wellness Center endeavors to provide a high standard of quality care through education and prevention services by utilizing a holistic approach. We are a secluded treatment facility located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We cater to mature individuals who are serious about changing their life, and want a safe, confidential, and elegant retreat to spend their early recovery. The program integrates elements of cognitive and motivational interviewing therapy, by having the individual reflect on various domains of life including nutrition and physical wellness.

East of Eden Wellness Center believes in treating each client with unconditional regard, respect and compassion. Because we understand the shame-based nature of this disease, we try to help people understand and de-mystify and take away the terrible stigma created by the destruction around each alcoholic/addict. When people begin to gain understanding of their problem, they begin the process of regaining their self esteem and take steps to regain a full and happy life free from alcohol and other drugs. Our Prices range depending on your specific needs and wants. We have triple, double and single room accommodations available. Our financing includes the cost of treatment and airfare. Passport must be acquired on your own. Please call for more details.
Immediately, prior to arrival at the treatment center, an assessment done by our clinical staff, to determine the type of individualized treatment plan each client will receive to work with their behavioral needs. Using alcohol, such as drinking beer, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink is common in modern society. Similarly, using certain types of street drugs is also common, such as marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines (speed), and hallucinogens (such as LSD and ecstasy). Although these types of substances can make people feel good, they can also cause problems and make it more difficult for people to manage their psychiatric illness. This module focuses on the effects of drug and alcohol use in mental illness and other parts of life, and offer strategies for reducing these effects.
